Здравствуйте, Олга!

In Level один Урок два, we are given the following sentence structures:

какого цвета бумага?
and
какого она цвета?

Are the word orders interchangeable, or is there a rule for this? In other words, could you also say:

какого бумага цвета?
and
какого цвета она?

Наташа may have touched on this in our first lesson the other day, but I don't remember what was said.

Thank you,
Манди

Здравствуйте, Мэнди.
In Russian most of the times there is no strict word order in the sentence. But sometimes it sounds weird if you change the word order.
The rule is: it's better to follow a native speaker, therefore using the phrases from the book is the best solution.
With these particular example I would say that
To me it's more natural to put the noun in the end of the question. Какого цвета бумага?
Put the pronoun in the middle of the question. Какого она цвета?

The phrases какого бумага цвета? and какого цвета она? are also correct, but in this case sound a little bit unnatural.
Did I answer your question?

Olga
