upper and lower case

| Hello,
In English, when you use the words "mom" and "dad" as nouns, they are lower case. When you use them as names, they are upper case.
Examples: "This is my mom at the park." vs. "This is Mom at the park."
In the Reading Russian workbook, these words are only lower case. Do they ever begin with an upper case letter in Russian?

| Hello Mandy, In Russian words мама and папа are always lower case - never upper case. Generally in Russian we use upper case much less than in English.
